1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill in our contact form, book a call, email or phone us, we collect the details you choose to share, such as your name, business name, email address, phone number, the services you're interested in and your message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device, pages visited and the date and time of your visit. This is used to deliver the Website securely and to protect it from abuse.
Spam protection. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. Turnstile may process technical signals from your browser for this purpose only.
Client data. When we provide services, we may process information about your customers on your behalf, such as contact details for review requests or appointment reminders. We handle that data only according to your instructions and our agreement with you.
2. Cookies and analytics
The Website does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We use only cookies that are strictly necessary, such as a cookie that enables content preview for our editors. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how visitors use the Website, such as which pages are viewed and how quickly they load. It does not use cookies or store anything in your browser, does not track you across other websites, and does not store your IP address. If we add other analytics tools, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- respond to enquiries and schedule discovery calls;
- prepare proposals and provide, manage and bill for our services;
- send service-related messages and, with your permission, occasional updates you can unsubscribe from at any time;
- keep the Website secure, prevent spam and fraud, and fix problems; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. How we share information
We share information only with service providers who help us run our business, under agreements that require them to protect it. These include our website host (Cloudflare), our content and form storage provider (Sanity), our scheduling provider when you book a call, email and phone providers, and accounting tools. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or sale.
5. How long we keep information
We keep enquiry information for up to twenty-four (24) months after our last contact, unless you become a client. Client records are kept for as long as needed to provide services and meet tax, accounting and legal requirements, typically seven (7) years. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
6. How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, update or delete your personal information, or to stop sending you marketing messages, by emailing help@mthrlnd.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act. We will respond within the time required by law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
8. Text messages
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we may send messages related to your enquiry or our services. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. We do not share mobile numbers or SMS consent with third parties for their marketing.
9. Children's privacy
Our Website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Apps we build
Apps we develop for clients are covered by the privacy policies of those clients. Apps that MTHRLND publishes under its own name will include their own privacy policy describing the data they collect.
